Welcome to The Resplendent Cave's Edmonton-wide shared world campaign! What is a shared world campaign? It's a type of game where multiple parties participate on an agreed setting where their actions have consequences for the world at large. 3 to 4 month story arcs will be punctuated by a major D&D event featuring multiple dungeon masters and the story will conclude with a series finale. During the story, players will have the chance to earn physical item cards that they may use for future events.

You have arrived in the town of Tai’an, which rests in the shadow of mount Taishan. On this holy mountain lies the next challenge in your quest to stand alongside the great dragon Shenlong, Fenghuang. You’ve chosen the town of Tia’an as your base camp before you ascend the mountain, travelling through the 8 gates that mark the path to Fenghuang.

But all is not right in the town of Tai’an. Animals in the surrounding forest are unnaturally restless, monsters not usually seen in the region have begun to appear. More immediately, the governor’s son, Jun de, has fallen ill, and his father will not allow anyone to traverse the gates until he is well. There is also a reward on offer for any person (or persons) able to assist in the healing of Jun de. After a night of rest at the local inn, you gather for breakfast, and to plan your next move.

• Ability Scores will be generated by Standard Array or Point Buy
• Only official content published by Wizard of the Coast is allowed
• No flying, hovering or gliding characters
• Pre-made characters will be available upon arrival
