Triple book launch and signing!

NOSFERATU UNBOUND CRUEL NIGHTS and BATRISHA AND THE CREEPY CARETAKER a triple book Launch/Signing by four award-winning Ballarat horror writers.

Authors Kirstyn McDermott Jason Nahrung Dillon Naylor and Steven Paulsen will be in-store to talk about and sign their recent works plus launch and sign the marrow-freezing new book NOSFERATU UNBOUND from IFWG Publishing: a powerful collection of fiction by some of the best voices in contemporary horror edited by Steven Paulsen and Christopher Sequeira. And the launch/signing of CRUEL NIGHTS a fabulous grunge filled vampire novella by Jason Nahrung published by Brain Jar Press!

The first book is Nosferatu Unbound an anthology of stories and articles inspired by the classic 1922 silent movie Nosferatu. It is being released globally by IFWG Publishing International on September 16th. We are thrilled to let you know that alongside a cast of well known overseas writers this book includes fantastic work by four local Ballarat contributors:

- Steven Paulsen as co-editor (with Christopher Sequeira).

- Dillon Naylor with striking B&W artwork.

- And short stories by Kirstyn McDermott and Jason Nahrung (whose story is set in colonial Ballarat).

The second book is Cruel Nights a vampire novella by Jason Nahrung published by Brain Jar Press. This is a grunge-soaked tale of love and vampirism in ’90s Seattle. Trent Jamieson (author of Day Boy and The Stone Road) says: "No-one writes vampires like Nahrung."

The third book is Batrisha and the Creepy Caretaker written and illustrated by Dillon Naylor. It is a lushly illustrated storybook for kids of all ages published by Comicoz to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the "Batrisha the Vampire Girl" comic strip that ran in K-Zone magazine between 2001-2017.

Arrive early for an 'Orlok' mocktail whilst a silent screening of 'Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror' will flicker in one corner and enjoy this unique and fun Friday the 13th horror event.
