Formed in 2003, Vampirates are a lightning fast hardcore punk band from Reno, NV. They have been described as “Zappa-violence” with influences ranging from RKL and NOFX to Stravinsky, Coltrane, and Dillinger Escape Plan. They made national news on their 2014 international tour after being mistaken for terrorists while in Florida. Now at twenty-three years and over 700 shows they have recently released the album “#trending” on Voted Best Records
