THESE SPECIFICATIONS ARE APPOVED BY THE 405 STREET ELITE FOR THIS EVENT1. Valve cover can be from any internal combustion engine.
2. Must be less than 30" long.
3. Must be less than 10" wide.
4. No more than 9" high.
5. No more than 10 pounds in total weight.
6. All weight must be stationary (No motion movement)
7. Wheels can be made of any material.
8. Wheels no larger than 4" in diameter.
9. Must have 3 wheels or more.
10. Nothing should extend beyond the front of the valve cover.
Valve cover racer will be disqualified if it does not meet the specifications. Racer will be disqualified if it leaves it's lane of the track. It will also be disqualified if it does not complete the race. If both racers do not complete the race, the one that traveled the farthest wins the race.
There will be 3 different age groups; Kids 12 & Under,
Teens 13-17, Adults 18 & Older.
Entry fee will be $5 to race your valve cover.
We will have a small amount of valve cover cars for rent for $2.
The awards will be; 1st & 2nd places & Best looking valve cover prizes.
1st will win cash and a trophy.
2nd place will get a trophy.
Best looking valve cover car get's a Prize. This will be in every age group.
