Value Added Beekeeping Series | Make & Take Hands-On Series | In-Person

Learn how to collect & process products of the hive into value added products in this 8- week make & take hands-on workshop series. This registration is for ALL 8-week sessions. Sessions also available for registration as individual events, if you only want to focus on one product of the hive or do them all to get a head start on homemade gifts for the upcoming holiday season.

• Sep 26 - Beeswax Rendering & Beeswax Candles, Rolled & Poured
• Oct 3 - Lip Balms
• Oct 10 - Salves
• Oct 17 - Lotion Bars
• Oct 24 - Propolis Tinctures
• NO Session on Halloween
• Nov 7 - Infused Honey
• Nov 14 - Creamed Honey
• Nov 21 - Comb & Chunk Honey

If you are participating in-person, supplies for make & take will be included. Please bring (2) half pint mason jars on days for salves, tinctures, infused.honey, creamed honey and chunk honey. We will be using plastic BPA-free tubes and containers for lip balm, so if you prefer no plastic, please bring your own preferred container on lip balm day

You may also participate virtually via zoom, no supplies are included, so please purchase your items from our eMailed list ahead of time to make along with us. Click here to register for virtual attendance

Each session Includes:

• Copy of Slide presentation
• Printable Guide with additional Recipes to explore as well as Troubleshooting section
• Ingredients needed to make focus product/s, so you can take your creations home.
• Copy of Video recording of class portion, which includes how to make items from each session (Actual make & take portion will not be recorded for attendee privacy)
