Valhalla Viking Festival plans to be an event like no other in the UK, where you don't just spectate, but you're able to take part. This will be our 6th year running and we're getting bigger and better every year! Held at Dummer Down Farm, Basingstoke, RG25 2AR over 4 fields overlooking the beautiful countryside. We're planning a 3 day Viking festival, focused around a great Viking Feast each night, the Gods and Viking activities to give our community a special kind of event to come together and celebrate. Because sometimes you just need to do Viking s**t with your Viking friends, right?
Not only will you have great entertainment like reenactment battles, live music on the stage every day, living history village, traditional storytellers around fire pits in the evening, but fire dances, a ceremonial board burning, music, animal displays/shows and statues of the Norse Gods to pay tribute to, but you'll be able to get involved and be a part of the fire walking ceremony yourself, have a go at Blacksmithing, Horn Carving, Archery, Leather Working, and other workshops for traditional crafts, play some Viking games and meet some amazing animals up close?
We have hand picked and invited all the traders who will bring you a varied collection of Pagan and Viking items and the food vendors are amazing! (we love food so we've chosen nothing but the best)
That's not even all of it, we've learned and improving on last year so we hope you'll join us at Dummer Down Farm, Basingstoke, RG25 2AR and bring Valhalla to Midgard!
