About the workshop
Candle painting is the art of transforming simple candles into beautiful, decorative pieces using paint and creative techniques. Instead of lighting a plain candle, you’ll design and decorate your own, adding patterns, motifs and colour. We will also be creating lino–cut Valentine's cards.
No prior art experience is needed, just a little curiosity and a willingness to experiment. This dual workshop is relaxed, playful and perfect for slowing down and making something personal. All materials are provided.
What we’ll do
During the session, you’ll be guided through designing and painting your own Valentine-inspired candles and lino–cut cards. We’ll explore simple techniques for colour blending, detailing, and personalisation so each candle feels unique.
You’ll leave with hand-painted candles to keep or gift, and the confidence to continue experimenting at home.
