This event has been carefully crafted by Ayoka Essentials, a vegan home fragrance brand based in Clarksburg, Maryland with many years of experience developing scents that create a more mindful and grateful home while making a global impact.
Are you a candle lover who enjoys scents that make your home smell & look more beautiful? Well, this is your chance to get hands-on practice in the candlemaking process with our Valentine's Day sensory candlemaking experience!
Must be 21+ to purchase tickets and enter the event.
Event location:
Our event will be hosted at the Thayer & Springs in downtown Silver Spring, MD, in their beautiful penthouse with its modern and elegant design. Hors d 'Oeuvres will be provided by a local eatery.
What's included in each ticket:
• A cozy and warm classroom-style workshop hosted by the Founder & CEO of Ayoka Essentials.
• All materials needed to make your very own luxurious, vegan 12oz candle for yourself or to gift ($42 value)
• Enjoy amazing wine tasting with two local Wine Experts and learn about the 5s of wine tasting with hors d'oeuvres and chocolate
• Glass of wine of your choice (must be 21+ to enjoy wine, for those that do not drink, the wine may be replaced with a non-alcoholic beverage of your choosing)
Event Vibe/Music:
A positive, friendly and intimate environment with Jazz, hip-hop, R&B, Instrumental and Afrobeat music playing in the background. This is a perfect Date Night, Valentine's Day, Girls Night Out and/or Galentine's Day.
Parking/Upon Arrival:
There's an assortment of street, free and paid parking space. Parking validation not included.
When you arrive, please be sure to check in at the front desk for the Candle-Making Workshop, and you will be guided to the penthouse, where the host will assist in getting you seated. Further itinerary information for the event will be emailed a week before the event.
Dress Code: Come looking like magic!

Inclement Weather. I understand that Ayoka Essentials runs its Wine, Chocolate Tasting & Candles Making events rain or shine and that inclement weather is not a basis for canceling or rescheduling an event.

Notice of filming and photography
By attending an Ayoka Essentials event, you are entering an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur.
By agreeing to these terms, you consent to photography, audio recording, video recording and its release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for promotional purposes, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by Ayoka Essentials and its representatives. You release Ayoka Essentials, its employees, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing, or publication and use of interviews, photographs, computer images, video and/or or audio recordings, and you waive all rights to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any use of these materials. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by Ayoka Essentials or the person or entity designated to do so by Ayoka Essentials.
Risks Contemplated And Assumed.
I knowingly and willfully accept these risks and the possibility of personal injury, death, or property damage or loss resulting therefrom. I acknowledge that the enjoyment and excitement of Wine, Chocolate Tasting & Candles Making Workshop is derived in part from the inherent risks incurred by travel and activity beyond the accepted safety of life at home or work, and that these inherent risks contribute to the enjoyment and excitement that is a reason for my participation.
Compliance With Wine, Chocolate Tasting & Candles Making Instructions. I agree at all times during TWine, Chocolate Tasting & Candles Making Workshop, to abide by and comply with any additional instructions given to me by my crawl team leader(s) or any other Releasees, and I accept that non-compliance may result in injury, death, or property damage. I understand that non-compliance by me or other participants may result in removal from Wine, Chocolate Tasting & Candles Making Workshop.
Indemnity Against Third Party Claims. I WILL INDEMNIFY, SAVE AND HOLD HARMLESS Releasees from any and all losses, claims, actions, or proceedings of every kind and character, including attorney’s fees and expenses (“Third Party Claims”), which may be presented or initiated by any other persons and which arise directly or indirectly from (a) my participation in the activities covered by this Agreement or (b) the participation by persons whom I have invited or permitted to participate in the activities covered by this Agreement, whether or not such persons have entered into an agreement with Wine, Chocolate Tasting & Candles Making Workshop. I understand that this indemnification obligation shall apply whether or not the Third Party Claim results from the negligence and/or other fault of any Releasees or from any other cause.
Non-Reliance. In entering this Agreement, I am not relying on any oral, written, or visual representations or statements by Releasees not contained in this Agreement or any other inducement or coercion to go to the Wine, Chocolate Tasting & Candles Making workshop. I confirm that, by my own free will, I have read and understood this Agreement and agree that this Agreement will be binding upon my heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators, and successors.
