Join me for a couples workshop in celebration of Valentine's Day exploring the art of Thai Bodywork - an interactive, floor-based practice where partners give and receive supportive touch, assisted movement, and guided stretching.In this space we move slowly and intentionally, learning how to apply firm yet safe pressure, rhythmic rocking, and fluid, full-body movements using breath, presence and body weight rather than force. The practice unfolds as a continuous exchange - part movement meditation, part partnered flow, inviting relaxation, trust, and deeper connection between two people.
Rooted in a centuries-old tradition developed to support flexibility, circulation and ease, this form of partner bodywork is both grounding and expansive. You'll be guided step-by-step, with options offered throughout, creating an experience that is accessible, respectful, and deeply nourishing. No prior experience is needed. This workshop is trauma-infomred, inclusive, and welcoming of all pairings.
Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement. Please bring a swimsuit, as we'll close the session with guided contrast therapy in the fire & ice cave (sauna and ice plunges), supporting integration, circulation and a sense of renewal.
*Certain conditions such as herniated discs or spinal fusions will limit participation in some movements. Modifications will be offered so all participants can benefit.
