Valentin Prince is an independent songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer based in Richmond, Virginia. Prince is widely hailed as a fluent and creative guitarist, with a remarkably clear voice on the instrument. However, he is not to be seen as just a guitarist—his passion for writing and recording has led him to pursue expression through bass, vocals, drums, keyboards, songwriting & production. Valentin Prince's songwriting is marked by an infatuation for the simple and deliberate. His productions range from the tender & heartfelt to the energetic & driving, drawing inspiration from neo-soul, pop, and indie rock alike.

Influenced by the saturated, sleepy worlds of Men I Trust and Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Prince explores psychedelia while always maintaining lucidity. He cuts dreaminess with a singer/songwriter's clarity—the likes of Faye Webster or Andy Shauf. This blend of rich textures and pop-sensibilities results in a colorful menagerie, highlighting Prince's versatility, confidence and personal style.
