Visual Arts Guild of Frisco is hosting a monthly membership meeting at the Gallery 8680 (8680 E. Main St. Frisco, TX)
Monday, January 20, 2025.
* Doors open at 6:30pm; the meeting starts at 7:00 pm.
* Our VAGF Member-Artists are encouraged to bring a small-to-medium piece of art for Artist of the Month voting.
The meeting is free for members, while guests are encouraged to make a $10 donation at the door.

Welcome our guest speaker, Cat Threadgill
Topic: Bookkeeping & The Artist
Cathy (Cat) Threadgill was raised as an army brat, living around the world, whose father always had a camera close by to capture the new views and adventures. At the age of ten, she used her babysitting money to purchase her first camera and has owned at least one ever since. After a twelve-year hiatus, she is now a part of DPPA, TPPA, and PPA and, in 2024, began her journey into print competition.
While always being good with numbers, Cat began taking bookkeeping and accounting classes at 17 years old and got her first bookkeeping job when she was 18. At the age of 30, Cat started her bookkeeping and accounting practice, which she continues to run today.
With her love of knowledge, Cat has continued her studies as a bookkeeper/accountant, become a Family Paralegal, a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®, a Mediator, and received her designation as a Certified Professional Photographer.
She now shares her knowledge of basic bookkeeping with artists and photographers to help them navigate a genre few people are comfortable with, but it is important to understand the basics.
