Coming to High Point in the Summer? Here’s What to Expect!

If this is your first time outside of Market, you’re in for a different—and delightful—experience. With a slower pace and fewer crowds, it’ll feel like we have the whole city to ourselves… almost. That same week, the Miss North Carolina festivities will be happening at the High Point Theatre, adding a bit of extra sparkle to town.

Unlike Market, there’s no mad dash for hotel rooms, but we do recommend booking your accommodations sooner rather than later. While the pageant won’t bring tens of thousands of visitors, it does attract over 1,000 attendees, so rooms may fill up. The good news? Hotel and rental rates are much more affordable—especially if you're sharing with friends!

Please note: transportation to and from the Summit is up to each attendee. There won’t be any hotel or airport shuttles available. However, parking in downtown High Point is much easier in June than during Market. We’ll send out detailed parking info a few weeks before the event.
