Vacant Company: (NYC/Raleigh) VACANT COMPANY, the North Carolina and Brooklyn-based Punk quartet is muscling their way out of the I-95 DIY corridor and into the studio. Citing everything from Coltrane to SLINT, the "post-whatever" inspired rock crew has the chops and reputation to shake rooms, unleashing a full-throttled array of musical influences, bridging Post Metal with Hip Hop, making space for headbangers and two-steppers in Hardcore. Their forthcoming self-titled studio album is set to release via Antena Krzyku (Poland) October 2024 followed by a full East Coast run. The band uses harsh stories and aggressive lyrics as tools to snatch righteously at pleasure and power while also including a great deal of raucous humor. It’s all filtered through the distorted descending power chords of DD Kidd and the heavy rhythm section of bassist Fifi Fritz and drummer Klay.
