Jane’a B is a self-taught artist from Philadelphia, drawing inspiration from street-wear, Afro punk, and vibrant color palettes. Throughout her artistic journey, she aims to embody and showcase the beauty of humility, which is about placing less emphasis on oneself.

mission:
d'griot cafe (“duh-gree-o”) amplifies more light in the 'hood; offering transformational moments to be seen, dream, and cultivate resilient community wellness.
vision:
- Named in honor of African storytellers and urban slang, d’griot cafe is a healing experience of story; stories of our ancestors, the magic in the present, and our intent for the future.
- We are a folk wellness cafe; a supporting folks on their holistic journey of the mind, body, and spirit. We offer natural medicinal products, nutrient food and beverage, gallery, creative events, coaching, retreats, and a space to inspire the whole family.
- We gather around the values of black, brown, local, and sustainable.
- We are intentional about creating authentic beautiful spaces to share stories, activate our creativity, educate one another, map toward our goals, and support one another to see the beauty in ourselves to fly.
- We are building spaces across Philadelphia that need access to community wellness cultivation as well as outside the city on land to offer rest, retreat, and re-connection.
