VA Hospital Mid-Week - Lake Denmark - Kayak - September 16th, 2025

We will have contactless registration, please fill out the waivers online before coming to the event. Links are below and in confirmation email, this only needs to be done for your first event of 2024.

On the water guides and land support are needed. On the water guides need to provide their own boat and fishing tackle. Land volunteers are needed including those who can assist participants fishing from shore.

There is no exact address for the Lake parking area. The best one to use is 58 Lake Denmark Road Dover NJ 07081. Please google map it and print out directions. If you look at the satellite map you will see the picnic grove and baseball field on the sharp turn next to Lake Denmark, that is where you want to go and park.

Mid-week events start a little later and usually are shorter in duration than our regular weekend events. This event starts at 10am.

Volunteers should arrive and be set up by 9AM

SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT FOOD: Breakfast bagels, donuts coffee and lunch will be provided. Water and Gatorade will be available for volunteers and participants.

Weather Considerations: Events are rain or shine, dress appropriately for the weather. You will be notified if the event is cancelled for any reason.

You may get wet during the outing. Its always a good idea to pack extra dry clothes for the way home.

A NOTE ABOUT NON-SERVICE DOGS

We love our non-service dogs as most of you love yours, but for the safety of all of our participants and volunteers, we ask that you refrain from bringing your non-service dogs to our event.
