Truman VA, in partnership with the Truman VA Medical Research Foundation, is hosting an enrollment event for all Veterans during May 13 – 17th at Truman VA Hospital. During National VA Research week, Veterans are encouraged to enroll for VA health care, then stop by the Foundation’s research booth from 9:00am to 1:00pm to enter a drawing for a free Kansas City Chief’s signed helmet, curtesy of Rusty Drewing Automotive. Veterans who feel they have been exposed to burn pits, Agent Orange, chemicals, nuclear weapons, or other toxins while serving in the military should come in and enroll for the best and most affordable health care in America for Veterans, even if you never deployed.
This is a great time to learn more about the extensive research that VA does that enhances Veterans lives. During this week, Veterans and their families can learn about current clinical trials and posters of recent bench research conducted here at Truman VA.
There is no purchase necessary to enter your name into the drawing and it is open to all Veterans and their families. The drawing will be held on Friday, May 17th at 1pm. You do not need to be present to win.
