Flag Opening Ceremony📅 Friday, November 7 | 2:00 PM
Join us at James Charles Winery as we begin the VA 250 commemorative week with a special Flag Opening Ceremony & Historic Military Display, presented in partnership with the Winchester Rotary Club.
This patriotic event will feature a visual display of U.S. flags, antique military vehicles, and tributes honoring America’s veterans on the winery grounds.
The ceremony will begin at 2:00 PM and include:
-MC: Les Veach, Mayor of Winchester
-Guard: Sergeant Jason Horn, USMC
-Blessing: Father Lundberg or Deacon Vosler, Sacred Heart Catholic Church
-Pledge of Allegiance: Jeff Fisher, USMC
-National Anthem: Sue Fisher
-Taps: Chris Rickets, USMC
Guests are invited to bring a lawn chair and relax on the grounds while enjoying the display. The tasting room will be open, so you can sip your favorite James Charles wine as you browse and take in the exhibits.
