As a true world traveler, Halima knows how to create a special tri-continental atmosphere: she grew up between London and Lagos and now lives in Brooklyn. Her music is based on the principles of soul, jazz and folk, but dares to look beyond the classical framework and is packed with modern instrumentation and techniques.
