UWAN | A Benefit Show for Cebu, Philippines

We're hosting this event to bring together Filipino/a/x, Fil-Ams, Bis-Daks (Bisayang Dako), Neighborhood Friends and Family.

An evening of connection, creative expression & music at our benefit show & open mic night. From talented performers to Manila Sound, this night is all about coming together to learn about our people, talents, and culture all while giving back.

Ticket sales and any donations will directly support a holiday celebration for children in Cebu who were impacted by the recent typhoons.

In addition, we will also be accepting any gently used or new clothing items for our donation drive:

• Short & Long Sleeve Shirts
• Pants & Shorts
• Baby Clothes
• Socks
• Shoes

Info: Fill out a name tag, get comfortable as you enter and listen to soft acoustic music provided by Manila Sound

Info: Use this time to catch up with a new friend, your family members, shop, bring a business card and leave it at the networking table, don't forget to leave an extra for the host!

Info: First priority to Filipinx artists and creatives that would like to share their art - this can be through singing, harana, poetry, spoken word, etc. If you have any music/sounds, you can share it with the DJs, instruments (limited to 1 cable for an acoustic/electric guitar). Please keep performances family friendly and no more than 10 minutes each, you may be asked to share your piece with the stage manager for approval.
