UW Kappa Alpha Theta Family Weekend

Join us for an unforgettable Family Weekend with Kappa Alpha Theta at the University of Washington as we cheer on the Huskies against Illinois! This special weekend is a chance for parents, siblings, and loved ones to experience the warmth, spirit, and sisterhood that make Theta so special.

Friday, October 24 – Class Welcome Parties
Each Theta class will host a welcome party for parents and families at different venues around Seattle. Select your class party on the Add-On page during registration. Additional charges apply depending on the venue.

• Freshmen (MC25) – Mountaineering Club, Graduate Hotel, U District
  Buffet dinner and open bar in one of Seattle’s most scenic campus-adjacent venues. $40 for parents, $30 for Thetas and siblings.
• Sophomores (MC24) – Leslie & David Feller Residence, Bellevue
  Heavy appetizers and drinks in a warm, welcoming home setting.
• Juniors (MC23) – Christian Residence, Laurelhurst
  Taco truck and beverages, $25 per person.
• Seniors (MC22) – The Duchess Tavern
  Combined event with Beta fraternity – more details coming via separate Evite.

Saturday, October 25 – Game Day Festivities

• FIJI Mimosa Party – Time TBA, FIJI House
  Kick off game day with Thetas and their families at the FIJI house, next door to Theta on 17th Avenue. Start time will be announced once the Big 10 confirms kickoff.
• Theta Family Tailgate Party – Time TBA, Lot E12 (Husky Stadium)
  Celebrate before the big game at the Greatest Setting in College Football! Enjoy food, drinks, and Husky spirit at the Theta tent. Parents $20; Thetas and siblings $10.
• UW vs. Illinois Football Game – Time TBA, Husky Stadium
  Cheer on the Huskies vs. Big 10 rival Illinois! Families must purchase their own tickets. Discounted tickets available here.

Sunday, October 26 – Brunch & Open House, 10 AM, Theta House
Wrap up the weekend with a light brunch and one last chance to connect with Theta families before heading home.
