UV painting in the Teepee at The Oast House, you really couldn't imagine a more perfect setting for some UV painting.
Join us for a special event in the Teepee and try out some UV painting under UV lights! It's such an immersive experience and is suitable for anybody, even if you haven't picked up a paint brush since your school days!
Floating Art will provide you with your own palate of UV paints and canvas as well as everything else you need to paint with. Painting onto your face is optional!
This is not a step-by-step event where everybody paints the same thing, that's just not our style. In order to decide what to paint, you'll have a selection of references with a range in difficulty level to choose from, for sure given the date some of them will be romantically themed! If you would rather paint your own design, you're most welcome to do that too!
The session will be guided by Ula, a local artist and founder of Floating Art, Ulat has been running art workshops in Manchester for 5 years now! She'll provide you with all the instructions needed to help you get started and will be at hand for any assistance throughout.
Knowledge required
• Beginner friendly - all levels welcome.
Materials
• UV paint on canvas

What you'll get:
• All of the equipment and materials needed for your class.
• Protective equipment such as aprons.
What to bring
• Comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a little paint on.
• A carrying bag for take your artworks home.
* Our suggested age requirement for this workshop is 16+, there are certain circumstances where we would accept younger students who must be accompanied by a paying adult.
The workshop will cost £45 and will include all the materials, a drinks on arrival (medium red, white or rose wine or a house pint) and a main meal after.
