The Uttar Dakshin Concert Series welcomes the new year with an extraordinary musical evening on 2 January 2026. Two Grammy Award winners appear together in Delhi for the first time: Pandit Rakesh Chaurasia on the flute and Vidwan R. Ganesh on the violin. Both maestros, celebrated across the world and nominated again for the 2026 Grammy Awards, bring exceptional artistry to this much-awaited concert.

The evening opens with two immersive solo performances. Pandit Rakesh Chaurasia sets a serene yet powerful atmosphere with his expressive flute recital. Vidwan R. Ganesh follows with a violin solo marked by depth, grace and masterful technique.

The finale is a spirited jugalbandi, where flute and violin meet in a lively musical conversation. Supporting them are two outstanding percussionists: Vidwan Satish Patri on the Mridangam and Shri Satyajit Talwalkar on the Tabla, adding rhythmic richness, precision and energy to the stage.

Presented under the banner of Uttar Dakshin, this is a one-night-only celebration of North and South Indian classical traditions. Seats are limited. Book early to experience a rare and unforgettable concert.
