Join us for the opening of Pushwagner at the Astrup Fearnley Museet Saturday, November 28, at 13:00!
With a unique sensibility to popular culture, Pushwagner captured the spirit of the times in a science fiction-like language of comics. His artistic project actively and critically pointed to the homogeneity created in modern capitalist society—from cities in which people are crammed into crowded high-rise buildings, to authoritarian leaders waging remote technological warfare.
The exhibition explores these issues, which were at the core of Pushwagner’s oeuvre and is the first major presentation of his work in a museum in Norway since his passing.
Do you wish to attend? Sign up for an annual membership and join us for the opening! Members get invitations to the openings, free admission to the museum’s exhibitions, tours, events and more. https://www.afmuseet.no/en/events/utstillingsapning-pushwagner/
