About this Event
Utrecht Piano Meet-Up — 10th Edition 🎹
Come for the piano. Stay for the people.

Ten editions of music, new encounters, and shared inspiration! On Friday, 20 November 2026, we're bringing pianists and music lovers together once again for another evening of live music and good company.

The Utrecht Piano Meet-Up is a welcoming gathering for adult pianists of all levels - from intermediate players and conservatory students to advanced and professional musicians. Whether you want to perform or simply enjoy listening, you're part of the evening.

This is more than a traditional piano recital. It's a place to share music, meet like-minded people, exchange ideas, and discover new musical connections.

If you perform, you can:

• Share your repertoire with a supportive audience.
• Try out new pieces and receive constructive feedback.
• Meet potential students, teachers, and musical collaborators.
• Find chamber music partners or explore improvisation.

Our programmes bring together a wonderfully diverse mix of music: classical masterpieces, jazz, film music, contemporary works, original compositions, and improvisation. Performers are invited to briefly introduce their pieces, and chamber music is very welcome.

No auditions, no competition, and no pressure to be perfect. Just an open atmosphere where everyone can enjoy sharing their love of music.

And the evening doesn't end with the final note! We finish with our traditional gezellige borrel, where you can meet performers, talk music, make connections, and enjoy a drink together.
