Welcome to our event – a terrain-based Early Medieval combat game focused primarily on experience and personal immersion. The aim is to offer participants a more intense, realistic and distinctive way of exploring history than what conventional festivals provide.
To achieve this, we combine several elements such as marching, night and daytime raids, orientation, sleeping outdoors, standing guard, drinking from springs, and similar activities.
PHILOSOPHY & COMBAT
Combat is a secondary to tertiary matter! What matters most to us is atmosphere, team cohesion, the ability to react to unexpected situations, and an authentic experience that everyone takes away.
EQUIPMENT & AUTHENTICITY
The demands placed on participants are relatively high. Regarding equipment, we expect you to have your own understanding of what you are wearing and why. We place emphasis on appropriate costume, gear and weaponry. Please consider that clothing forms a coherent whole and that it is therefore important that individual elements complement each other within the overall set.
🎒 LOGISTICS & SURVIVAL This is a marching event, therefore it is necessary to have suitable luggage and a way of transporting your gear so that it remains comfortable even over several tens of kilometres.
Your chosen baggage should accommodate:
Blankets for sleeping
A water flask & food for two days (period-appropriate / non-disruptive!)
Equipment for lighting a fire, chopping wood, cords, straps, etc.
ATMOSPHERE
Overall, our goal is a shared experience and an atmosphere that draws us in. We therefore ask all participants to limit the use of mobile phones, cigarettes and alcohol to an absolute minimum.
The fewer modern, disruptive elements, the better the game functions.
