Utilizing Eye Movement Integration to address Trauma Symptomatology
Join us for an exciting event where we will explore the benefits of utilizing Eye Movement Integration (EMI) to address trauma symptomatology. This in-person event will take place at 739 Thimble Shoals Blvd. Discover how EMI can help individuals process traumatic experiences and improve their overall well-being. This workshop will provide foundational information and experience regarding providing Eye Movement Integration to address symptoms of PTSD, anxiety and phobias. The presenter will utilize lecture, PowerPoint presentation, videos, demonstration and experiential exercises to support the learning objectives and facilitate learning.
Upon completion, participants will be able to:
- Identify the effects of trauma on the brain.
- Define how Eye Movement Integration works as an intervention for treatment of post-traumatic stress, anxiety, and phobias.
- Recognize and identify the contraindicators for Eye Movement Integration
- Compare and contrast Eye Movement Integration to EMDR
- Explain the process of Eye Movement Integration and of acquiring informed consent.
- Competently demonstrate the Eye Movement Integration process.
Continuing Education Credit Provided: 6 NBCC credit hours
