Missouri Customers! You may be eligible for assistance, even if your utility account is not past due.Join Evergy and other community resources on Tuesday, March 11 from 9am-2pm* to to receive information and application assistance for the LIHEAP Energy Assistance (EA) program (no requirement of being past due) and the Energy Crisis Intervention Program (ECIP) that assists with energy costs if you’re at risk of disconnection or have already been disconnected at your current address.
Amount of ECIP Benefit:
• Energy Assistance (EA): receive up to $318 towards electric costs (Nov-May).
• Winter (Nov-May): you could receive up to $800.
Applications will be available at the event.
Please bring:
• Copies of your current utility bills: Evergy, Spire and KCMO water bills
• If you are not receiving food assistance (SNAP), please include:
Check stubs, bank statements, annual award letters for February 2025 and copies of Social Security Cards for all household members.
