Here is more information about Tacofest:Tacofest is a cultural food event happening Saturday, August 3rd & 4th, 2024 at the Utah State Fair Park (155 North 1000 West).
The day will feature live music, cultural performances, special giveaways and Utah's own taco vendors as they compete for Best Taco Awards in five categories!
Not only does Tacofest showcase some of the tastiest taco-centric restaurants, but we are also dedicated to raising money for charity.Since 2017, Tacofest has raised over $21,000 for Meals On Wheels, Boy & Girls Club, and other charities.
This year, to continue our tradition of giving, we will be raising money for a new charity that will be announced in January 2024. Join our effort in making this our biggest year yet!
We are grateful and excited to have a tequila garden along with the best local breweries Uinta Brewing and Shades Of Pale Brewery.
We will include much to be announced like carnival rides, etc.
Entry for adults: $10 (includes one raffle ticket for a chance to win giveaways)
Kids 12 and under are FREE!

No, the $7 covers the entrance fee and that is part of what we are donating to charity. All tacos are separate.Minimum age requirements to enter the event?
ID is not required unless you plan on consuming beer or liquor.

Utah State Fairgrounds is located next to Fair Park Trax Station on the Green Line. We also have our own dedicated parking lot that can be accessed on 1000 west.

What are the costs associated with participating?
General entrance is $10. VIP is $97 for one or $185 for two. Attendees can then buy and try tacos from all over the state of Utah.

How many people are expected to attend?For the last two events we have received 10,000+ attendees. Our stretch goal is 15,000 people for the 2024 event.How many other food vendors will there be?
Since we are not charging an application fee this year we are going to limit how many food vendors we have this year. We will have 20 taco vendors and 7 desert vendors.
How does the taco competition work?
This year will include a change to the taco competition. Instead of having judges go around and judge the tacos, we will have a panel of judges where food vendors bring their tacos to be judged on the stage in front of the entire audience. More details on logistics will be provided in the first quarter of 2024.

We will be providing a copy of the floor map in the first quarter of 2024. We have to give time for the vendors and sponsors that are onboarding to finish that process so we can accurately design the floor map.Can we bring service animals or pets?

For the last two events we have received 10,000+ attendees. Our stretch goal is 15,000 people for the 2024 event. Our primary demographics are young adults from all ethnic backgrounds across Utah, Weber, Davis, and Salt Lake County. 61% are women and 35% come with their young families.
