Info: "Inside Shelter Medicine: A Fireside Chat on Best Practices and Challenges" will feature local rescue leaders and veterinarians discussing critical shelter medicine issues. This intimate session will cover topics like shelter diseases, including FIP, panleukopenia, parvovirus, and other viral threats. Experts will share insights on prevention, early detection, treatment options, and strategies for managing outbreaks in rescue environments. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with the speakers, ask questions, and gain essential knowledge to improve shelter practices and animal care.

Info: The Saving Kittens workshop teaches community members of all levels about kitten welfare and foster care. Attendees gain an understanding of the issues impacting kittens, learn the fundamentals of caring for kittens 0-8 weeks of age, and become empowered to play a role in saving their lives.
