The Candelaria Festival is a showcase of the profound blending of Indigenous Andean (Inca/pre-Inca) worldviews with Old World Spanish traditions, arising from colonial-era contact. This fusion is visible in religion, art, gastronomy, and architecture.

Witness the spectacular fusion of two worlds at the Fiesta de la Candelaria, a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage event. Feel the ground shake as the dancers in shimmering costumes perform the legendary Diablada, Caporales, Waca Waca, Morenada and much more!!
