Welcome light beings! Join us at Ahava Collective, a non-profit yoga studio in Greensboro, NC, for the introductory level of Reiki training with Rev. Michael Ward "Shadowhawk"!
In this course you will learn the history and basic treatment methods of Reiki healing.
Reiki is a Japanese energy healing system to promote stress reduction and relaxation. Having been received upon this Earth in the early 1920’s, Reiki healing is now 100 years old! This practice pairs well with massage therapy, yoga, meditation, crystal healing, etc. Upon completion of this course you will have achieved the LIFETIME requirements to be certified as a level one Reiki practitioner.

There will be small amounts of snacks, hot tea and water provided, but you may wish to bring a meal for the 30 minute break. You may also bring your own meditation cushion and a few small crystals or other small healing items if you wish.

My journey with Reiki began in 2008 when I received Reiki I. Henceforth, I could not be stopped! I achieved Reiki Master-Teacher in 2012 with Margo Ross Sears and again with Author Brett Bevell later that year.
I have taught classes in the triad area and staff classes at Omega Institute for Holistic studies in New York. I am an ordained LEWA clergy member and a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist in the state of North Carolina. I am currently in a Mindfulness meditation teacher certification program with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brock.
