USPS HIRING EVENT - PORTLAND METRO AREA / SELLWOOD STATION

Postal officials invite residents who are interested in rewarding and challenging positions to attend a hiring event between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at several Postal locations in the Portland Area.

Kenton Station. Located at 2130 N Klipatrick St. Portland Oregon 97217

Multnomah Station. Located at 7805 SW 40th Ave Portland Oregon 97219

Oak Grove Station. Located at 3860 SE Naef Rd Portland Oregon 97267

Parkrose Station. Located at 4048 NE 122nd Ave Portland Oregon 97230

Sellwood Station. Located at 8816 SE 17th Ave Portland Oregon 97202

We look forward to meeting you. We will have Staff and computers onsite to assist persons with the online application process.

To assist potential applicants, USPS personnel will be on-site to provide detailed information about available positions, answer questions, and walk future employee through the application process step by step on-site. Starting pay range is $18.92 - $19.50 per hour depending on the position, paid bi-weekly. Benefits include regular pay increases, paid vacation leave, health insurance, and growth opportunities.

Employment requirements

• 18 years old at the time of appointment or 16 years old with a high school diploma

• United States citizen, permanent resident, or citizen of American Samoa or other U.S. territory

• Recent employment history

• Ability to pass a criminal background check, and medical assessment

• Residency requirement for background checks

• Safe driving record (if applicable to the position)

• Must be registered with Selective Service if applicable
