Let's sketch Popp's Fountain nestled in the Oaks of City Park. We are shifting the meet-up time by a week. We will have a throw down at 10:45 and admire each other work. History of the Fountain: Popp’s Fountain in New Orleans City Park was designed by the Olmsted Brothers in the late 1920s, funded by a $25,000 donation from Rebecca Grant Popp as a memorial to her husband John F. Popp, and was dedicated in 1934 with distinctive Ionic columns and an Art Deco bronze fountainhead featuring leaping dolphins by Enrique Alferez.
