About this Event
Come join the Indiana Playwrights Circle for our October 13 large group face - to - face meeting--one of our quarterly networking events. The topic will be: ways to use IMPROV to help develop your playwriting project.
We will meet at the District Theatre on Mass Ave and first, we will learn about how the District Theatre works with new plays and playwrights. Pauline Moffat from the District Theatre will be our special guest for Part One.
Then Joe Wagner and Kelsey VanVoorst (Behind the Couch Comedy) will present a few simple improve techniques and help the group try them out. (Part Two)
Finally we will take a couple of scenes from possible plays and experiment with using improv techniques to "build them out". (Part Three)
And as always, there will be lots of networking, meeting and greeting and sharing of experinces. (Throughout!)
Be there, or be square!
