Using Hand Planes & Scrapers

There are many jobs that are still faster and easier to do using hand tools. Learn all about setting up and using hand planes and scrapers, with a short course on sharpening. Topics include which plane(s) to get first, jointing faces & edges, and using scrapers for a fine finish. The seminar ends with time allowed for some hands-on instruction. Everything needed will be provided, but students are encouraged to bring along their own tools for practice and assessment as they build their own hand tool collection.
