This interactive course looks at ways to use drama as an intervention
About this Event

Drama has long been recognised as a powerful tool for supporting learners with emotional and behavioural difficulties. It is also useful as an intervention to support the school’s vision for behaviour management. Drama can help improve students’ chances of relating to people, empower them to solve problems, and allow them to see alternative outcomes. This interactive course looks at ways to use drama as an intervention - not just within drama lessons but across the school. The training is accessible and appropriate for non-drama teachers; it may also be of interest to upper KS2.

  • Developing a culture of positive behaviour and attitudes
  • Discovering a toolkit of drama strategies that can be used in a range of behavioural contexts
  • Finding ways to help learners increase their confidence and self-esteem
  • Providing you with a range of activities to explore group decision-taking, social skills and co-operation
