About this Event
A Musical Cultural Experience
Step into Tampa’s legendary past and vibrant future with this one-night-only celebration of “The Scrub” — the historic Central Avenue district once known as the “Harlem of the South.”
iAmPreme commands the stage, backed by a full live orchestra and Mister Wagner & The Get Down Band, in a breathtaking performance that bridges generations through music, storytelling, and orchestral power. The night explodes with the thunderous energy of the renowned KUUMBA African Tribal Dancers & Drummers and a special appearance by Don Mack.
Blending Afro-fusion, pop, hip-hop, jazz, rock, and classical arrangements, this immersive show pays homage to the musicians, entrepreneurs, and cultural icons who defined Tampa’s creative soul — while igniting a bold new renaissance for today’s generation.
Heritage meets innovation. History isn’t just remembered — it’s felt.
Hosted at Tempus Projects in the iconic Kress Building, this refined seated concert is a living tribute to Tampa’s enduring artistic legacy.
