Useful Weeds at Division

Did you know that most of the plants we call “weeds” were brought to this country because of their food and/or medicinal uses? As many of these plants evolved to revive depleted and disturbed earth, they provide valuable clues for what is going on in our gardens too. Join Grady Proctor from The Medicine Garden as we explore some of the common early spring weeds discussing everything from proper ID to food and medicinal uses and how we might make preparations from them.

***All classes will be held in our greenhouse Hoop House 1, which is located right behind the store. It is a large greenhouse, so it functions as a covered outdoor area. We will have patio heaters going if it's cold out but please remember to dress so that you are comfortable during the presentation.***
