USE Evening of Sharing & Community Night

You're invited to USE's Evening of Sharing and Community Night! Come chill with fellow NYC creatives over light bites and beverages for a community mingler, followed by an artist open mic. RSVP as a guest or sign up* for an open mic slot!

*An accompanist will be available for artists who bring sheet music.

Community Night (2:30pm-3:30pm): USE Community Nights invite folks to connect or reconnect with fellow artists over bites, beverages, and most importantly, conversation! Attendees are encouraged to mingle about and meet new artistic collaborators and friends.

Evening of Sharing (3:30-5:30pm): Register here for a sharing slot (or "General Admission" just to watch!), then add your name to the lineup once you get there! And bring your sheet music if you have it–there will be an accompanist provided :) Evenings of Sharing (USE's version of an open mic!) provide recurring opportunities for community members to perform and share their work year-round. If you have a comedy set you’ve been crafting, an excerpt from a one-person show you want to test, or just want to come share a song, this is your space.

Underground Skills Exchange (USE) invites you to tap into your sense of play. Reclaim yourself as a theater writer, director, or performing artist by stepping into our underground- just as you are. Jam with your fellow creatives, drum up new work, and build your toolkit through USE’s artist workshops (from theatre-making to life skills), devised productions (from clowning to text generation), and skill-swap open mics (from stand-up to spoken word). Come use our space until your tool belt is bursting with new skills—It’s always a leap away when you want to get back in touch with your artistic flow.
