This fun and thought provoking class is an essential introduction to developing a home defense plan as well as using a handgun to protect yourself and your family during a home invasion. It focuses on the legalities of using deadly force, tactical considerations within your home, choosing a handgun and ammunition, interacting with law enforcement and much more!!! Classroom lecture is reinforced with live fire range drills. Students must have basic handgun shooting experience and be able to demonstrate appropriate handgun shooting and safety skills. (contact the instructor with any questions regarding this pre-requisite).

A $25 deposit is required to be fully registered for the class - checks should be made out to Line of Defense, LLC and mailed to LA Nail Salon, c/o Line of Defense, LLC, 311 Sagamore Pkwy. North, Suite #7, Lafayette, IN 47904. PayPal payments including a 4% convenience fee will be invoiced to the student. The deposit is fully refundable until September 19, 2026. The instructor for this class is Len Halascsak, a deputy with the Tippecanoe County Sheriff's Office (Indiana), who has over 25 years of experience training police officers and civilians in the use of deadly force, tactics and shooting.
