Join other San Francisco Bay Area alumni, friends, parents, relatives and Trojan supporters for our third game-viewing party of the 2021 season, featuring the annual non-conference battle between the Men of Troy and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Saturday, Oct. 23.Mayes Oyster House, 1233 Polk St. between Sutter and Bush, opens its doors at 4 p.m., and kickoff follows shortly after 4:30 p.m. in South Bend, Ind. Let's gather for some Trojan SCpirit and Pablo's delicious chicken wings and oysters. Known as the Department of Chicken, this special in-house caterer also serves reasonably-priced salads and Krispy Tots and French Fries.

The Men of Troy are playing all their regular season games on Saturdays for the first time since 2009. They enjoyed a much-needed bye week before traveling to confront their Midwest opponents, who barely defeated Virginia Tech, 32-29, on Oct. 9. Notre Dame boasts a 5-1 record, while USC seeks to improve its 3-3 status.
Proof of vaccination and an ID are required to enter the venue according to the city's latest Public Health orders. A photograph of your vaccine verification card or a QR code is acceptable. Those showing up without proof can gather in the outside dining area where a television monitor will be available for viewing the game. All attendees are mandated to wear their masks or face coverings properly while not eating or holding their beverage of choice in their hands.
Mayes management asks that we limit attendance inside to 90 and up to 25 people outside and offers a SCpecial GameDay light dinner menu as well as beverage specials and $2 FIREBALL shots following Trojan touchdowns. Other drink specials will be announced closer to kickoff.
