USC will be squaring off against Minnesota on Oct. 5 at 6:30 pm. The game will be played in Minneapolis in the Trojans' third game in the Big 10. The Golden Gophers are 2-2 and are hoping to spring an upset vs. USC.Minnesota and USC have played 8 times in their history with the Trojans holding a 5 game winning streak and they lead the overall lead in the series 6-1-1. The series dates back to 1953 with Minnesota beating USC in 1955 and the two teams playing to a tie in 1965. The last time USC and Minnesota played was in 2011.
