About this Event
Join University of Saskatchewan President Peter Stoicheff and Cheryl Hamelin, Vice President of University Relations, for a special reception introducing Michael Bradley, the new Dean of Engineering, to the Calgary community. Dean Bradley will share his vision for the College of Engineering and discuss the exciting future ahead. President Stoicheff will unveil the IDEAS Expansion conceptual designs and provide an update on the "Be What the World Needs" campaign, highlighting the pivotal role you can play in the future success of the College.
Following the reception, reconnect with fellow alumni at the annual Calgary USask Engineering Alumni Luncheon. This year’s event will feature a panel discussion on “Exporting Canadian Energy to Global Markets,” with USask Engineering alumni.
As Canada expands its global energy presence through major developments like the recent start-up of the Trans Mountain pipeline and commissioning of LNG Canada, this panel will offer their valuable insights on the impact of bringing Canadian Energy into the global markets. USask alumni are at the forefront of these advancements, helping to solidify Canada's position as a reliable global energy provider. We are immensely proud of their leadership and contributions to shaping the future of Canadian energy on the world stage.
The Calgary Engineering Alumni Luncheon is an annual event hosted by USask engineering alumni to provide Calgary and area alumni with an opportunity to re-connect and to welcome new graduates as well as USask engineers to our city and keep up to date with recent developments at the College of Engineering. If you'd like to get involved and be a part of the Calgary Engineering Alumni Chapter, please email [email protected]
Get an exclusive look at the strategic renovations planned for the Engineering building with the IDEAS Expansion. All alumni are invited to the reception at 11 AM to view architectural renderings, understand project budgets, and learn about engineering's phased rollout of the renovations and expansion.
