Heads up: First Ascent Peoria will be closed on Saturday, June 19th and Sunday, June 20th as we host the USA Climbing Rope Regional Youth competition. See below for a full schedule of setting and facility closures during the week of the competition.Rope Regionals will bring 150 competitors from 6 states to compete for a bid to Nationals. We are beyond excited to host a competition at this level in the same year competitive climbing makes its Olympic debut, knowing that some of these competitors may well be representing the US in a future Olympics.
We are looking for lots of volunteers throughout the weekend to help out with everything from volunteer check-in to belaying for competitors. For more information on the competition and volunteer sign up, visit faclimbing.com/peoria/regionals.

CLOSURES
June 14-17: Partial Setting Closures
In preparation for the competition there will be general closures in the roped area during the week of June 14-18 on part of the West Wall, and about half of the Pillar. The following lines will be stripped on Monday, 6/15 for regionals setting:
West Wall (WW) 1-3
Pillar West (PW) 4, 7-11
Pillar Southeast (SE) 1-9 (all routes in SE)
Pillar Northeast (NE) 1-6
While no competitors will be allowed in the gym during those times, we will remain open Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday as normal for members and guests.
June 18: Closed As Normal on Fridays
June 19-20: Closed For Climbing
Competitors, competitor families, and volunteers only during the competition.
