Level 1 Coach - This clinic is the entry level referee course for those who are interested in officiating tackle rugby. Prior knowledge or experience in rugby is not required. The Level 1 Coach Course focuses on player welfare and the technical skills to play safely – specifically the tackle and the scrum. The course requires coaches to demonstrate effective coaching techniques, taught in the course including teaching through games, technical skill development through progressions, and collaborative coaching. This course is suitable for all experience levels and will likely comprise a mix of veteran players/coaches and those new to the game – all benefiting from a free exchange of ideas/experience.
Pre-Registration is required, No walk-ins.
