Greetings Dancers!
You are cordially invited to our first dance of 2026! Our Valentine’s Day Dance Gala will be held on Saturday, Feb. 14th, and it’s going to be a fabulous time! Enjoy a night of joyous dancing, elegance, and memories. This is a dress-up affair, so cocktail attire is appropriate - dress to impress!
We’ll provide heavy hor d'oeuvres and sweet treats, a romantic Rumba lesson, festive decorations and photo backdrop, and a very special dance performance you won’t want to miss!
The fabulous Sarah Martinez, Dancesport competitor and dance instructor with The Ballroom House, will be teaching the romantic Rumba. The Rumba is the perfect slow dance for modern music and is noted for its signature box step danced “slow-quick-quick-slow.” Sarah is a highly accomplished competitive dancer and has competed at prestigious ballroom dance competitions including the Ohio Star Ball and the Grand National Championships.
For a special treat, Sarah will perform a Bolero and Viennese Waltz routine with her dance partner, Prageeth Hettiarachchi, owner of The Ballroom House. You will not want to miss it!

Do I Need a Partner?
No partner required, singles are welcome! We switch dance partners throughout the night so everyone gets a chance to dance.
