About this Event

On August 11-14, 2022, the Wisconsin Logging Museum, in historic Carson Park, will host the 9th US Open Chainsaw Carving Competition. This event brings in the top chainsaw carvers from around the world to create beautiful masterpieces out of 8-foot logs. This year's wood carvers include:

• Hikaru Kodama from Japan

• Takao Hayashi from Japan

• Jake Rhodes from Canada

• Dave Marshalek from Tennessee

• Chris Kheuhn from Minnesota

• Brandon Kroon from Australia

• John Hayes from Ireland

• Steven Higgins from Missouri

• Matt Crab from UK

• Chris Wood from Whales

• Micheal Koeppel from Northern Wisconsin

• Kyle Thomas from North Carolina
