Join the award-winning NAS Richmond Division of the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps for a special Open House and experience firsthand one of the nation's premier youth leadership development programs.
Whether you're looking to build confidence, develop leadership skills, make new friends, explore STEM and maritime opportunities, or challenge yourself through hands-on training, the Sea Cadets program offers an exciting path for youth ages 10-18.

What You'll Experience
During this Open House, prospective cadets and families will:

✅ Meet current cadets, parents, and adult volunteers
✅ Participate in an obstacle course alongside cadets
✅ Learn about leadership training, drills, and activities
✅ Discover national and local training opportunities
✅ Ask questions about enrollment and participation
✅ See firsthand how Sea Cadets develop future leaders
Who Can Join?
The U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps is open to youth ages 10-18 who are interested in developing leadership, character, citizenship, and life skills.
Cadets have opportunities to:

⚓ Develop leadership and teamwork skills
⚓ Improve physical fitness
⚓ Explore maritime, aviation, and STEM fields
