About: EPA’s Safer Choice program is hosting the 2022 Safer Choice Partner of the Year Awards Ceremony and Partner and Stakeholder Summit at the DoubleTree Hotel Washington DC-Crystal City in Arlington, Virginia, on November 1-3, 2022.

Either in-person or virtual attendance is possible. Registration is now open until October 23rd for in-person attendance and until November 1st for remote attendance. Please use the link above to register.

• When are the events? The Partner of the Year Awards will be held November 1st from 12:30pm-4pm. The Partner and Stakeholder Summit will be held November 2nd and 3rd from 9am-5pm, with registration for in-person attendees beginning at 8:15 am on November 2nd.

• Where are the events? The events will take place at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Washington DC-Crystal City, located at 300 Army Navy Drive, Arlington, Virginia, 22202, USA. For those unable to attend in person, please choose one of the remote registration options.

• Who should attend? For the Safer Choice Partner of the Year Awards Ceremony, all are welcome, including 2022 award winners, partner companies, and stakeholders. For the Partner and Stakeholder Summit, we welcome Safer Choice partners, purchasers, retailers, non-government organizations (NGOs), trade associations, chemical manufacturers and other interested stakeholders.

• What will be covered at the events? EPA will recognize the 2022 Safer Choice Partners of the Year for their outstanding achievement in the design, manufacture, selection, and use of products that meet the Safer Choice program's stringent health and environment standards. During the Partner and Stakeholder Summit, EPA will explore topics of importance to stakeholders and the program. This will entail informational sessions, panelist discussions, and networking opportunities with a focus on dialogue and developing solutions that can advance the Safer Choice program.

• What are transport/parking options to get to the event?

• • Metro: The closest Metro station is Pentagon City, and the hotel provides a free shuttle between the hotel and the station.   • Air: Three airports serve the Washington, DC area: Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA), Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD), and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI). Reagan National is the closest airport (3.3 miles) and the hotel provides an airport shuttle service. Dulles (28 miles) and BWI (34 miles) are farther away. Buses from Dulles and BWI connect to Metro stations. BWI’s rail station also provides Amtrak and Maryland Commuter train service (MARC) to Washington’s Union Station, which connects to Metro. Ride-share companies, taxicabs and shuttle buses serve all three airports.
