URI Guitar and Mandolin Festival Fundraiser

University of Rhode Island Guitar and Mandolin Festival runs October 13 & 16-20, 2024, and draws students and guitar enthusiasts of all ages, both locally and internationally. Because the festival has such a strong educational core, our goal is to make the guitar as accessible as possible to students in underserved communities. To that end, we offer many scholarships to the festival, where students attend concerts, masterclasses, and lectures from some of the top names in classical and acoustic guitar and music instruction. We also have two competitions for players that provide students with the unique opportunity of being evaluated by world-class musicians and awarded for their musical interpretations. www.uriguitarfestival.org
